New alliance helps register.com customers obtain customized

toll-free numbers when registering a domain name

Register.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:RCOM), a leading Internet domain name registrar, and TeleDomains.com, one of the premier online providers of custom toll-free number services, today announced a marketing alliance that will allow businesses to obtain a branded toll-free number when they register a domain. As a result, register.com customers can strengthen both their online and traditional marketing strategies and provide their own customers with free and easy access to products and services.

Through the soon to be launched service, register.com will offer domain registrants the opportunity to set up a toll-free phone number to match their new domain through TeleDomains' patent-pending toll-free number-generating system. For example, if a customer registers the domain www.mybrand.com, the TeleDomains.com service will assist the company by creating and establishing a toll-free telephone number of 1-877-Mybrand, and/or a toll-free fax number, 1-877-FaxMyBrand. Customers will pay a one-time fee of $95 for customized number creation services, if they choose to use reserve a number.

The TeleDomains service will be offered to new register.com customers as part of the registration process, and will be accessible to existing customers through the Manage My Account section of the register.com Web site. Once a customer places an order for the service, TeleDomains.com will contact that customer by e-mail with a matching toll-free telephone number within three business days. If the number is acceptable, the customer can activate the number online and it will become operational within 5 business days.
